Ok so then if its meant for a heavier truck why is the spring rate only 90 pounds heavier
The 883 that are made for the first gen tacos have a 590 pound spring rate just like the 887
Only thing is the 887 is slightly taller than the 883

What do you think I should sell both for? $150 a fair price?

Edit: Meaning uca and one Spindle/hub assembly!

I have an arb and the v6
My thing is ive had the springs for around 5 years or so and im only getting around 2" of lift in the front
I mean i could cut to make my 33" fit but my truck is still nose diving just sitting still
Just trying to see what my best bet is to get the front back up to around 3"

I don't see why your even looking into second gen coils. I'm sure they would be too tall. You may get coil bind before you hit the bumps

From what ive read they have a 620 pound spring rate but cant find a free height of them to compare them to the ome 882
    Still looking
    Thanks for the idea though

    True
I dont know just know that i have the tallest springs for a first gen but being a
Double cab with the v6 and an arb and the springs being old and settled im sagging in the front and am trying to get my 3" of lift back and replacing it with a spring that already has proven to wear out after a few years doesnt seem like a fix for my problem and i know coil spacers are basically the devil so just weighing out my options and taking any input yall have
But as for being too tall
The 887 have close to the same free height as the 882 im currently running thats why i looked at those

Why don't you get a coilover if you don't want to buy new coils every so Miles? They are pricey but might be what's best in the long run!

I think a pair of spindles is worth $150ish. Stock UCAs are worthless.

Put the 887s on and let us know then. You've got no CVs to bind. Enjoy zero downtravel though.

Sometimes I wish @jberry813 would return to this thread to straighten out all the uninformed millennials and their misinformation. I'm just simply incapable of being that much of an asshole.

At Pep Boys. This was line sold by the foot, and they actually just had a scrap about a foot long left. Most auto part stores should have something. I think this is high temp/pressure line. I used something similar when I was redoing some of the coolant lines on my 7. If you look at the ends, you can see threads in the middle.

Bring in your original hose. To compare the ID (inner diameter). The ID was tighter than the original, but it is secure. Its twice as thick or more than the OEM.

I don't think that a high pressure hose. It makes no since if it just runs into the air box. I would guess it's just a house to pull fresh air. Or just a type of vent.

I never mean to imply it was, I was referring to my replacement hose. Edited and fixed.
I was looking for anything, it fit the bill. Yeah, its overkill.

Some cool LED lights and a switch... King 2.5s - Front/Rear Total Chaos UCAs OME Dakar leafs
Finally replaced my climate control lights with LEDs from superbrightleds.com
    For reference, I used these - NEO4x (4mm):
    https://www.superbrightleds.com/mor...ulb-high-power-instrument-panel-led/221/1002/

I don't notice any difference in brightness, but I also didn't scrape the paint off the back as I've seen can(?) be done. Glad I can finally see what the hell I'm actually doing at night instead of just randomly fumbling through each setting that I really should have memorized by now.
