Nope. It's just easier if someone else does it.

Don't you need a lift to be able to rub those?

we gonna find out. I've heard a few that have run it on stock suspension. Might have to put a couple degrees of castor to move the wheels forward. mudflap will be going away. If there is any rub I will manage it until I get suspension ordered.

Waiting for my new radiator to come in, I just went with a $100 shipped cheapo from Rockauto.
I'm sure I'll regret it later but for now it'll have to do, kind of like a ugly chick, ya know?

I'm looking back at some of the very first posts in this thread and wishing I was around for that. But I wasn't and I can't go back so lets go forward!
I've copied some of the co-ordinates from our good avacado, fish taco, eatin' buddy o'pal @MeefZah and I'll let those few spots be a start for my collection.
But now since we are missing two of our most active to the land of Cali, including the most wonderful OP @WheelInTheSky.
Who will be the one(s) to carry on the legacy?

I for one will be looking for shenanigans to get in to but I will need help.
Sure I have some new buddies with Nissans, Jeeps, and such, but it's nothing like a Taco brotherhood.

Do I need to be the one to put together the future Ohio Taco meets? It may not be pretty but it must be done.

If you want to run with some I don't think anyone would complain. Everyone has to balance real life vs. Play time. I'm looking forward to getting back out. Gonna be 2 more weeks for me.

Still gotta order the cb. Been spending my money on big items as they come along. Much faster than I anticipated.

I only have 1 weekend a month off normally...but if the meet ups fall in line with my schedule and it's a weekend I don't have 1 of the 4 weddings I'm in this year...I'll sure as shit be there.

I gotta say, in comparison to your Beaver Trail, all of my spots (except maybe Stone Quarry ) blow goats.

I did drive up the beach on Samoa along the Pacific here yesterday. It's fucking LEGAL to rip up and down the sand dunes. That was freaking fun. Maybe you should plan a meet out here. ....it's only a 40 hour drive. Closer if you are in western Ohio!

I attached some pics from last few days....

Mountain pic is me in front of Meredith, going through Wyoming.

Beach pic is across the harbor from Eureka, in Samoa. The whole peninsula is an off road area.

so last night got a couple items off my list.

Painted lower shifter panel [technically this happened over a month ago]. Painted side panels and instrument cluster rings black. Swapped out 4x4 switch to the black one.

    Added phone mount.

Thoughts: the interior is much easier on the eyes. The gauges are surprisingly better to look at. I feel the eyes are not distracted by the like they were with the silver rings. Everything flows better.
