ok, I lied, I didn't get my lift last night, I've been reading threads all night about UCA's and just can't decide what to get. The ones I'm considering are the LR ball joint UCAs, Icon uniball's, or TC uniball's. I'm leaning towards the icons now because I've been reading about how the LR's are easily thrown off alignment and the bushings and ball joints don't have a very long lifetime but I've also read the Icons need more attention along the lines of greasing and cleaning and that they are more for very hardcore offroading... I only really wheel a few times a week at most mainly on the weekends and i dont do a lot of real hardcore rock crawling. sand, dirt, mud, hills, and trails are mainly what i like to do but moderate rock crawling is thrown in too sometimes. I also am finding a hard time finding people with more than a couple thousand miles on any of these arms besides one guy with TC arms that had 50k on them and said he had no issues and didn't even lube them and had no squeaks, so if anyone has had any of these for more than like 10k miles how are they and how have they been? sorry for all these questions Im just having a really hard time pulling the trigger I mean its a lot of money lol. I don't want to regret buying something so expensive. Thanks guys

After reading this novel my vote is for tc ucas with uniballs. Depends on what coils or struts you have for performance, but tc is a tried and true peoduct for sure.

The Lrs have more adjustability for a closer to stock alignment. But they are balljoint and with my extended coilovers I prefer the strength of uniballs.

Got some tabs welded on the recessed part of my allpro bumper so I could tuck the wires better. Also got them off the front so theyre more protected as well!20160328_124108.jpg

Tested out some local trails today in the rain to see if I was still rubbing after pounding out the pinch welds and cutting some more fender. No more rubbing :D

Can't blame the installer for that. It is the IFS design. When you lift it, a few things happen. One is you lose caster. The stock upper control arms aren't designed to compensate for lift.

Sorry @Squeaky Penguin, I refuse to be the asshole.

Tried to pull a stuck chevy 1500 out of a field, 4Low with the diff locked and on a paved road all I did was spin, a few other trucks tried pulling also and didn't get anywhere.
When I was pulling my winch suddenly stopped working (Both in cab and remote don't work) so I'm hoping I fried the solenoid and not the gears or motor, no pops or anything so I'm praying it's electrical.

The one good thing about trying to pull the truck out was I met the guys mom, quite the looker for being ~40.

Oh, and I also got quite a few compliments on my truck from a bunch of rednecks, general consensus was "It's a little low for a Yota, but that's a clean ass truck".

Nice. I guess I missed that in your build. Did I hear you say the height is adjustable?

V2 will be improved to work smoother. I love the side lift more then anything though.

Hyper link to the build of the rack is in my op of build thread

I went to O'Reilly's and brought that hose in. They gave me something really thick but it's a little to big because it's slowly melting from the heat of my supercharger. My question is did they have those bents ones by the foot. That's amazing.

Are OEM oil filters the way to go? Or is there something better out since @chris4x4 posted his writeup?
