Anybody on here running them yet or have any experience with 'em? They are $799 and seem to have a good rep with the FJ guys so far.

Also, does anybody have any measurements of the rear ground clearance on a stock Taco?

I'm thinking about keeping the TSB leafs and getting the Toytec C/Os and leveling the truck and wheeling that. If I need more clearance I can raise the C/Os and get a 3" leaf pack from All Pro.

    Oh Yeah!!!
I believe these are the Walker Evans coilovers. Check this link, All Pro has them, and it's $1099 with UCA.
Been looking at these for a while. I think someone on this site is running this setup.

    negative...those are def toytec coilovers

05TacoTRD, why not go with something you KNOW is a proven winner...such as Sway-A-Ways instead of something that you have to ask if anyone is running?

Wheelers has SAWs for the same price and free shipping :D

I had heard that SAWs have a rough ride from some TN people. I see that you have them on your rig, so I'm guessing for you to recommend them you must like 'em.

Now that I think about it, I do like the idea of getting the SAWs, because as you said they are proven.

no problem...i think that toytec's are prob a decent coilover...however all i ever see are threads about like this one...has anyone ever had them etc...as opposed to threads about icon/saw/camburg that are essentially "installed them love them etc" if that makes any sense at all

i noticed that the toytec ones utilize a bilstein shock which is all well and good...but the saws and others are rebuildable...dunno if that makes a difference to you

keep your eyes open on the ttora boards as well as other offroad forums...im sure soon enough someone will be cutting all the IFS junk out from under their truck and theyre gonna need to sell their coils

thats how i got mine...they have a few miles...but they still work great and i think i paid $300 shipped to me...compared to if i paid $700 or $800 new

with that discount at toytec...i think you'll make out a bit cheaper (like $50) but you have the sway a way name and proven quality for that extra $50...because wheelers ships for free :D

Yeah I really like those. And $1099 for Coilover and UCA is a great deal.

if u ask around u can find the 2.5 saws for same price. i got quoted 850 at several places, but i found a company selling one used(rebuilt) one and new one for even cheaper then 850 for a pair of 2.5"s
