    Hey Fellas,

I'm selling my plate bumper I just recently built for my truck. I understand this is my one and only post and it seems skeptical. I've been on this forum a while as lurker and I do have a lot of experience selling things on other forums in the BMW world (R3V, e30tech).

Here it is. Main tube is 2x4 1/4" steel, side plates are 3/16" plate, frame mounts are 3/8" channel, d-rings are 1" bar mounted directly to the frame mounts. I added a piece of 1" "L Channel to top of the main tube for aesthetic purposes"

I have added a plate mount that covers the hitch and will flip up and lock to access the hitch. License plate lights should arrive on Thursday.

    Located in Denver

Bolt on, retains factory bolt pattern. There is a very small amount of non-visible non-structural sheet metal grinding necessary.

Nice work at a great price! Too bad you're not in Ontario, Canada.

Maybe the next one could be a little longer on the ends to protect the bottom edge of the tail lights?

Thanks for the words! I like like tucked bumpers, and am willing to sacrifice utility for aesthetic. That said, I will be sure to incorporate that feature on the next bumper.

Where does the pin go that holds a hitch into the receiver? Is it in the front of the bumper?

I agree with this. Changing just a little to protect the tail lights would be cleaner imo. I may be in line for one of that happens.

If I get enough interest I'll certainly build a few more with light protection.

    Where ever you want!

I can add a mount if it's a determine factor.
