I haven't even been able to fully droop it out yet lol so I'm not sure if it'll bottom out. More testing to come

Did this flip kit raise/lift your ride height? If so, how much?

@ARCHIVE Do these shackles lift the truck? I'm looking for a flip kit but I don't want it to lift the rear of my truck any. If these shackles do lift the truck, any chance you can make me stock length shackles? Could you just drill the holes on the shackles a little closer together on mine?

They lift appoximately between 1-1.5". No shackle flip kits are available with zero lift that I know of, did see that claimed but the rear spring eye is lower so zero lift claim can't be true.

I did get about 1" out of it. I should have taken before and after measurementso but I forgot. I think if I didn't have all the extra weight back there it would have been even more

I haven't pulled before and after measurements, but just having one side done so far, I've gained at least 1" with this kit in the forward position combined with OME dakars.

Edit: with just the dakars in the back I was sitting at 24 3/4" from center of wheel to fender. After kit install I'm at 26" from center of wheel to fender. Gained 1 1/4" in the forward position.

    Okay, thanks!

    Thanks man.

After taking measurement on my truck, I think I'm going to leave it alone because I'm almost using all of my shock travel as it is now. The only way this kit would benefit my truck is if I relocate and buy 12" shocks.

How tough was it to get the rivets out? You just grind off the heads and beat them through?

I did it both ways! Grinding rivets down but I was unable to break it off, you can pound the bracket out but you still are going to have to drill the rivets out, and I also tried drilling the rivets out and found it to be a little easier but I used 4 or 5 different bits to get up to the half-inch bit needed. Not to bad! I think following the directions was the easiest.

I grinded the heads off on one side of the rivets. The 2 on the side of the frame punched out with some persuasion and the bottom rivets need to be drilled since there is a weld on them. I used a center punch then worked my way up to the 1/2 inch bit. Thinking about it now, I would use some grease or even a magnet to catch the drill shavings. They got all over me during the process. To drill the hole for the forward mounting option, I basically mounted the kit and drilled that hole last using the hole in the bracket to find where I needed to drill.

Thanks @bobsuruncle and @KUOKOA for giving your experience with rivet removal. It's not fun but it's doable, have a beer when it's over with

My 2nd batch has sold out and the price increased $20 to $240 + shipping for Tacoma World members.
Message me first to get that price of $240 (otherwise $260+ship on my site).

Man, I'm really considering this. I think this is a much stronger setup than stock and I can see that the ride would be better... Ah hell with it!
