Looks great. I'm having a lightbar installed hopefully today, everything wired up and ready to mount. I'll post photos later.

Wow. That is nuts. The stuff I got wasnt prebent. It was slightly curved, from being rolled up. I just got it to work. I will get you a shot what mine is listed as. Otherwise it sounds like you need to try to zip it away from the SC to protect from the heat. Or you need a heat shield, or you need to do something (outer ceramic coat??).

    How much are those new?

They better be around $800. No way will I every pay more than half of new retail for something new.

Do those only fit our 1st gens? If yes then he doesn't exactly have a huge number of people wanting to buy them. Our trucks are getting rarer and rarer.

In all honesty, I would have a hard time giving $200.

I'm the last person who should be consulted for suspension parts. I can and do all my own work, but I just go after market, stock. You get a lifetime warranty for a few dollars more and you can usually get the parts on the way home from work. Down time is more of a hassle than trying to figure out what system works the best. Its fun working on out trucks, but there are lots of other things that are more fun. Chasing those cats for one.

Do they need to be rebuilt? I'm pretty sure recharging them and swapping out the seals will run at least $100. If that's the case, you're looking at $500 or more for used coils, I say that's to rich for my blood. I would offer him 2-300 tops. Also, what spring rate are they? If you plan on running a bumper, winch you'll want a higher rate. If it's high and you don't have that, it'll ride stiff.

Saving money is nice, but personally I would buy new in this department. If he would take $200 then why not, more than that I would pass. My .02

How long has he been advertising to move them? If they've been for sale for a while, that tells you that not many people are looking for these parts. If he just won't take a lower number, then its his fault. Everything in negotiable.

If he doesn't know what he has, then he must have picked them up from somewhere else is just trying to flip them and score some quick profit.

I'd be gone at this point.

Good luck in what decision you make.

Those King's are around $1000 new. $400 is a very good price depending on condition.

I knew they were spendy, but I didn't know they were that spendy!

I'm a cheap fuquer. I'll spend $400 for something new with a warranty before I spend a grand and have to pay if I break them. Just my opinion. I have no issue with others modding and improving there rides.

I asked if he'd do 350$ and meet halfway to pick up. He says they are not leak in and shouldn't need rebuilt

It's less Tacoma and more mod
Just because they aren't leaking doesn't mean they don't need a rebuild. That said $350 is still a good price if they need a rebuild.
