    i want to run a compressor in the bed of the truck. The compressor is 120v will it work in the bed​

    Depends on the amperage of the compressor. You only have a little over 3 amps with the truck running.

    It depends on which type of compressor you are referring to. Since these guys are referring to 120vAC compressors, there really is no other way to hook them up. If you mean on board air set-up like an ARB, then you would hook it up the the existing 12VDC supply (battery/charging system).

    Providing you have the 120 volt outet in the bed and it draws less than 400 watts or 3.3 amps.
