Sat on a DRZ-S on the way home from my interview to see how my vertically challenged self could handle it. I had to one foot it, and my one foot down was only half touching. So it's theoretically possible, it will just be a lot different than being able to flat foot with two feet on my bike.

Also tried on an Alpinestars jacket to confirm online sizing chart, since I'll be getting an Alpinestars leather jacket in the future. For anyone wondering, a 42 is comparable to a large for A-Stars.

One footing a bike that light isn't bad. I was one tip toe on the rc8 and that was too sketchy

Being 5'7 w/stumpy legs is part of why I've migrated more towards cruisers the last few years. Gotta love those ultra-low seat heights.

That and I get pulled over a lot less frequently...

I have yet to get pulled over on the DRZ. The other day an officer was checking out my bike at a light too, i was sitting there just thinking dont pull me over, dont pull me over. The light turned green and he took off lol

That's just because the cop likes how your butt looks in the riding leathers.

At least that's what I tell myself when they pull me over

Meh. Happens to all of us eventually. Even widdle two fiddy Ninjas get pulled over (and kept there for 45 minutes because one of my riding buddies didn't have his insurance card OR his driver's license with him  ) now and then. :notsure:

Nice. I want to do that but I've never taken a fork apart. I'm sure I could watch some YouTube videos though
