Are the trails technical? Are they dry? Do I need armor? I would rather my truck not end up like @Jystr on my first run. Sorry dude. I'm a noob with this stuff so please forgive my noobness.

Mainly just fire roads. Few holes w water/mud possible. Most likely only damage will be scrapes from bushes/trees on tight trails. Stock trucks are fine on the majority of stuff out there.

That sounds reassuring. With all this damn rain it's probably inevitable to run into some mud. Seems like fun. I'll be watching the thread to see if you guys head out there.

Do I need to do anything prior to heading out there as a civilian? I saw something about annual passes.

Ya you guys need a pass from the Jackson guard to be allowed on the ranges. I think it's like $20 or something like that

I got my annual pass online https://eglin.isportsman.net you have to watch a video and pay but it'll save you a trip from actually going inside. Is anyone for sure going out this weekend?

Ya, just recently they allowed you to get your pass online. Can keep a pic of it on your phone as your pass.

Where does everyone get their alignments done? Planning my move over there in October and looking to get aligned today here in VA and purchase the lifetime alignment package. I want to make sure wherever I purchase that package that there's a shop near by Eglin AFB
