Such a good platform to suppress. 2nd one down is my AAC 9" 300BLK upper w/KAC URX3 rail and YHM suppressor. Running subs all you hear is the action cycle and people always come ask me about it when I'm at a public range.

For sure! I love running subsonic on mine, like you said all you hear is the action cycle. Everytime I go to the range it gets a little attention lol

If I wasn't already invested in the 6.8 SPC I would go 300 BLK.
But I do also like the idea of being able to hunt with a 12.5" barrel with suppressor and comfortable take a shot at a deer at 300 yards.

Do you have to buy a new tax stamp for each suppressor or is it one and done?

    One for each suppressor.

For Short Barreled rifles (Barrel less than 16") you can use one stamp and have multiple length barrels for the same firearm.
E.G. My AR 15 has a 7.5" barrel on it, however I can pull the upper receiver off and change to a 12.5" barrel or 2" barrel as long as it uses the same lower receiver (The actual firearm on an AR15)

Starting July 13, 2016, the rules for registering NFA firearms using trusts will change as a result of executive action announced by the Obama Administration. I am now hearing from some @ ATF that stamps may cost as much as $800 bucks each under the new 41F rules when implemented.... just some FYI

    WTF?

All that I've seen the new rules do this:
    1. Eliminate CLEO sign off requirement
    2. All "responsible persons" in a trust must submit photo and prints.

There is still too much really unknown with this law and how things are going to be as responsible and leave people unprotected and unaware causing a HUGE issue with the trusts....

True, no definition for several of the new stuff.

Which gem tech is that? Looking at either the griffin armament checkmate or Gemtech GM22.

I like the idea of the monocore for ease of cleaning.

    Someone say Suppressor?

I really want to buy another one buy for 7.62... just don't want to also buy a rifle to suppress as well... so for now, will just stick with this one.

The only thing I have I would want a suppressor on is my Ruger 10/22. And I find it really hard to justify spending $800 on a suppressor for a $300 rifle haha

Get a decent but inexpensive 7.62 can and a Mossberg MVP patrol, budget setup with great results.

    Cool, how noticeable is FRP?

Decent rim fire suppressor is $250-350 plus tax stamp, great investment.

I think the one that I've been looking at is called the Osprey. Which is pretty pricey. The only reason I've been leaning towards that one is because you can take it apart and clean it so it lasts longer than conventional suppressors
