    springs by nature are progressive, the more you deform them, the more the resist deformation.... until they deform past their elastic region o_O

    Edit: after a quick google search I stand corrected. there are digressive springs but they start softer and then transform to a linear region. think of a steep slope then a sharp angle to a more gentle slope like two linear regions glued together (different from shocks)

    Fox used to use mild steel bodies. I have their older 2.5s with that body. Mine have surface rust on them but its not that bad cause no salt around here. Fox switched to an aluminum body a year or so ago. This is also what ADS and King use.

    The progressive/digressive valving is in the piston design. Icon uses a different style piston then the other big name company's. Besides that, the valving is all in the shim stack. There are a countless number of ways to valve a shock through shims. The most common being a stand pack (shaped like a pyramid) or a flutter stack (shaped like a pyramid but with a much smaller shim placed somewhere in between). Valving plays a huge role in the performance characteristics of a shock, along with oil weight, nitrogen charge and spring rate. Those Bilstein shocks aren't close to the same level of the kings. Their prices should reflect that

    I'm a fan because they are just as quality a product as the others, were always cheaper and I like the look of them. But I'm not a fan boy. I could give a fuck less what their name is. All things considered equal, price and looks is what I'd buy. Oh and customer service. That's important too. Fox also is excellent in that category

    I got plenty of bumper pics too. :D

    I hate picking out just 1 shot from a bunch that's in 1 spot. Like some shots from a mud hole where I have 20 badass pics of the same truck but just through the progression of the hole. I picked out a few I like best and want to give y'all a chance to save what you want or pick out your favorite. I'll scramble them all up though but I got good stuff. Gonna try and do a few every day
