Drilling isn't necessary on these racks is it?

The light bar is holding up just fine except for the rusting mounting bolts that came with it. I'll grab some stainless ones sooner or later.

It's a bit noisy. It's not noisy enough that I had to turn the radio up, but it is noisier than without it. I'm very curious if a single row light would be quieter.

I don't have any photos of it at night. I'll see what I can do about that. It's far brighter and less yellow than the headlights.

The only other comment is the floods light up the hood pretty good if you mount it too far forward of the wind deflector.

Any of y'all get a lot of glare/something from your roof bar?

It makes inside the cab brighter, not just illuminating the road.

Depends which light bar you get. With my rigid SR2 the light doesn't start until the end of my hood.

Anyone ordered the trim for the wind noise issue, and can provide an update on how much of a difference it made? Turns into ~$40+ to get it up here in Canada, so want to hear the results from those without trucks like Zach's that have enough road noise already.

    Thanks!

I posted up a couple pages back. It is worth it. The rack is pretty silent after installing the trim. I had a pretty bad whistle and could feel vibrations from cross winds at high speeds. I ordered it from Zach, showed up in a couple days, installed and loving life again. I cannot say enough how big of a difference it made for me. I had three separate passengers who had ridden at city and highway speeds before and after. They all agreed it made a world of difference and was virtually silent now.

May be a dumb question, but when you screw the screws into the tslot, do you slide a nut down the slot or what does it thread to?

Thinking about this route as it seems a little more durable.

Series 10. I got 20 economy and 20 standard. Not sure which I like better.

So yes those but I didn't get the bolts with them. He uses 1/4-20 as his threading so that's what I stuck with
