    Not ignorant, it was a bad pic anyway. looking down on the left side, between the radiator, and headlight behind the grill. It's a bolt that's above the crash bar. It's been rattling and clanking and squeaking for way too long.

    This isn't a permanent fix, but just enough to make the horrific noise go away

    That's what my friend wants to do hahahaha. But awd vs 4wd ehh. To be honest I would happily take that vw truck for a daily and use the awd to make it a bit speedy and fun to drive, maybe a rally truck one day. And eventually have a 4wd for my off roader
