Awww I see well I still think you'll be just fine lol! Sooo is a crawl box kind of like a regear( in a sense of ratios) but for a tcase? It's just an add on to the original t case!?

Sorta yea. It's and additional tcase with lower ratio then stock. So you can combine them and get a super low ratio. Pretty handy

Yea gives you lots of options. Low for stock tcase. Low from 2nd tcase. Or double low from both.

 

That with diffs regeared...wow....walk right next your rig without touching the pedals lol probably walk faster than it. So much want but school has to come first. Mbn to have only half a semester left lol...if that!

 

Yea with my 5.29s and a compound tcase ratio of 12.9 or whatever it is with a 4.7 ratio crawl box the finally drive ratio is like 222:1 or something crazy.

Could pretty much ghost drive it haha doubt I would ever use compound much though. I'm sure just the 4.7 box is awesome with my 5.29s. Already crawls pretty damn good.

 

Holy shit that's crazy! Spinnin so fast! I don't think you'll ever need that low of a gear but hey what the hell! Lol!

 

be great control though for hard crawling. Wouldn't have to really be engaging or disengaging the clutch much if at all or riding the clutch. has its uses. Not sure id use it to its fullest but i would use it.

 

Definitely! stock gears and 33's right now sucks! Sometimes I feel like my clutch is just gonna burn up and die. Rode my clutch a few times too long on my 04 and the guy who bought my motor said there were some burn marks on the clutch plate lol! Oops!

 

yea 33s and 4.10s is not fun in a lot of situations. Totally do able. But can be not fun. I remember when i first crawled with 33s i felt like my truck was still jogging instead of walking like it used too. Now it realllllyyy goes slow. But it would be nice to go slower for worse stuff.

That red 4Runner in the vid I posted has a crawl box. That's why he made it look so easy.

This dual case talk has me thinking again, which is never good...

But from what im seeing, i can bolt a pre tacom gear driven case up to my truck and make my own crawl box..

Sooooo......if i can do that with the adapters from TG. And get a gear driven tcase for a decent price at my local junk yard...be hard to pass up.
