Faker got out of Passenger seat looked at guy that Carol shot that had been talking to her and left to track her. Rick shows up and stabs him and follows along to find Carol. I'm guessing the blood they're following is the faker's, and possibly not Carol's.

So the timeline thing - the last time we saw Carol she was standing over the guy with the knife and we heard a gun shot. We never saw her go anywhere. Then they show Rick and Morgan show up and find the blood trail to follow off into the field. Then they show the guy who was hiding slowly walk off into the field. IMO if it was a timeline thing, he would've been in black and white to signify a flashback of sorts, as the show usually does. But, it was a wide damn open field. When it panned to him walking down the field from behind, we should've seen who he was following, and in turn, they should've been able to turn around and see this dude stalking them.

I don't think Carol went that way and the blood they found is from the Walker they killed in the field who still had fresh blood.

However it plays out - I hope Carol dies. She sucks. Her crybaby shtick is awful.

 

You're crazy , Carol is a great character on the show

 

In my opinion some of the characters are good with being careless ( the alexandrites etc . ) but the core characters gets " surprised " WAY too much. It's getting to be a re-hash of past episodes in a different place. Oh look...Negan's crew has a couple of our guys. Whatever shall we do ? ( Same as Herschel and Michonne with the governor. Speaking of the governor and the prison...still unsure of why they left there to begin with. Heavy walls, locking cells,the tank didn't do THAT much damage that it looked unlivable. ). It still gets good at times, but others it's predictable. The arrow to the docs head in the middle of a sentence was cool...Darryl getting shot was a good ending.

 

The prison was blown all to pieces and the tank drove right through the fences, which were already broken. They had some of them propped up with wood but the weight of the walkers was still causing them to give. I don't think they would've had the resources to rebuild it and hold off the walkers. They would've needed to clear out the prison again too since it was pretty over run with them when they did leave.

 

True, remember when Glenn woke up on what was left of that bridge, there was a sea of walkers on the ground under him.

 

right, had they not left the prison, they would have not encountered Terminus, Daryl and sing-song girl wouldn't have gone out alone, giant black man and Carol wouldnt have been kid killers, Rick wouldn't have eaten a dudes neck....all that.

 

So I watched it again , the timeline is obvious , the guy hiding picks up Carol's rosary and follows Rick and Morgan

You can see their car approaching as the guy walk out of the scene , and after Rick and Morgan leave the area he crouches behind Carols car to not be seen while he watches something in the distance , picks up the rosary and follows their trail

Also I noticed the guy that Carol shot last that we didn't see , his knife seems to be gone and there is an open pack of cigarettes on the road beside him when Rick approaches him meaning Carol is likely alive or was at that point

 

What are the odds a season one character dies in the season finale? How long has it been since a #1 died? Was it Andrea in season 4? Many people believe Glen will die. I'm not sure this show is willing to kill off any of the remaining originals. I think Abe will die and they have been setting him up for it with the audience by having him dump Rosita but if they kill off an original who do you think it will be? My guess is Daryl. It would be a shock because of his popularity. I'm sure Rick and Carl are untouchable. Will any of these die Rick-Carl-Carol-Daryl-Glen-Morgan? I got my money on Daryl if it happens.

 

I think the big moment everyone thinks is coming in the finale actually won't happen (well, to completion) until the next season premier. I do think multiple people will die tomorrow night. From the beginning Rick and Carl are obviously untouchable. Daryl is probably 90% untouchable and likely won't die. His shot to the back last week is just a smoke screen to what is coming. I don't count Morgan as original since he was MIA for most of the first 4 seasons. Carol is my pick but mainly because I hate her character so much and I'm just wishing it happens. My money is sadly on Glenn. He's the only one that makes logical sense that will jerk at all the heart strings of all the viewers and that's what they are looking to do. If Abe dies nobody will care. We won't get any more funny 1-liners, but he won't bring the feels like Glenn.

 

Like I said previously , I think the writers would be doing themselves a disservice by killing off Daryl and his lack of any ties to the books story

 

I see what you are saying about the timeline, but you couldn't see Rick and Morgan in the field or the dead walker. It could be a production error but I think they would mess it up that bad. I don't think carol went that way or Rick would have caught up around the barn with all the walkers and other random guy. Whose trail were Rick and Morgan following? I don't think it was the walker.

 

Carol probably has something to do with the guy being stranded alone at the barn without his horse

 

In one of the previews for next episode I saw it showed Morgan riding a horse

 

Probably the horse "random guy" was looking for.
