    Hey All,
I'm new to tacomaworld.com and I am picking up my new TRD Off Road 4x4 tomorrow - super stoked. Not only am I a first time Tacoma owner, this is also my first truck! Looking forward to having some fun with this vehicle. Read through this thread and there a lot of awesome ideas. I already ordered some decals for the tailgate and the glove box and I also plan to have the windows tinted this weekend. Mods will likely be slow and steady, but one of the first major ones I want to do is swap all the bulbs for LED. Never really worked on a vehicle before (previous ones were leases). Thanks to all those who post step by step how to's for installations!

Looks great. I took the TRD 4x4 decals off the sides, removed the V6 badge and dipped the Tacoma badges on the side. Turned out great.

How did you dip the side badging? Did you just tape around them or take them off first?

Same lift I will be doing! Is that the 2.0 or 2.5 Boss kit? And I was told that the Dakar leaf pack is super noisy, have you noticed anything? 1 last question, what size tires are those? I wanted a C rated off road tire in 275 and I think Cooper was one of the only options for that. The KO2 275 only comes in E rating.

Noticed on the morning news today that IIHS came out with headlight ratings and the Toyota Prius V came out the best http://www.iihs.org/iihs/news/deskt...-headlight-ratings-show-most-need-improvement . Interesting that Halogen's came out so poorly and proves what most of us know. Hoping this prompts the manufactures to up grade all headlights to LED's or HID's soon, I really miss my LED's that I had on my last vehicle.

What brand/size tires are you running? Also what are the specifics of your Boss lift? UCA's?

They are pricey but you should try the OPT7 LED bulbs a lot of us are running. They are way better than OEM in my opinion.

What about bulb life compared to an OE?

Do you have a build list for your system? Curious as to which signal processor you used.

Not 100% sure but they do have a pretty nice warranty I believe. I personally don't care if I had to shell out the $90/set every year, I prefer that over OEM any day.

I just don't want to have to change them often, but I really don't have any probs with the stock ones yet either. If I still lived in WA, I would definitely change them cuz wet roads at night are a nightmare to see up there.
