I only bought it 6 months ago! I am attached to it though. Rushed decision when I had transmission problems on my car and just started a job so I didn't know how the finances would be. Trust me I consider it everyday, but I know the wife would not allow it.

Haha I was just kidding. Peerunners can do some serious off-roading though like Justin said, that locker though. I'm also in on helping with a lift install. I gotta figure out this "clunking" I have been having....usually just on take-off. For some reason I remember @TacoAlaMode saying something about the brake pads knocking? Idk anything about it...

I am hoping mine can do some impressive things once it is ready. I have heard the locker is like night and day. I plan on getting one of those and a winch to get me out when I do get stuck. :D Awesome! that you will help me install it.

I'd keep it, who cares if it's 2 or 4. Not like any of us are wheeling everyday. At least it's a truck that you are proud of.
    And @stronghammer could it be a u-joint?

    Honestly, I don't know. I've never actually dealt with changing a U-Joint.

Not bad. If you get up under the truck and check to see if there is any play in driveshaft then it'll answer that question.

There is slight play. I did that a week ago when I was looking at the carrier bearing. But the play only seems to be right there at that bearing. That's why i was getting in on the Polyurethane Bearing group buy i posted a while back.

Yes, always do. That's 80% of the fun for me!

My first taco was a prerunner, get maxtrac spindles and a leaf pack. Best lift for a prerunner.

I did some pretty crazy stuff with mine, and certainly spent my fair share of time stuck because of it.

The brake pads shift forward and backwards every time you brake while moving the opposite direction. So you back up and touch the brakes, the pads shift back and you hear a clink. As long as you keep braking going in reverse, no further clink. Shift to forward and touch the brakes and they will shift forward and clink. Until you are moving backwards again, they won't clink anymore.
