    Hi all! I'm new here. I just put a $500 deposit on a 2016 TRD Sport access cab manual transmission. It won't be my first Tacoma. I first drove a 1997 Tacoma regular cab 5 speed 4 cylinder back in college. I loved that truck but sadly it fell apart (well... the frame did) and I had to sell it. So I finally graduated and got a great job and saved up and ordered a new 2016. I'm so excited to have finally ordered a brand new Tacoma. They actually still have to build it and I'm curious as to how long any of you had to wait if you ordered yours and they still needed to build it?

    Thanks Howen! Two months isn't very long! They told me 4 at the dealership because they only put orders in once a month all at the same time. They called less than a week later to tell me my order was pushed through. Now I just wait for build and delivery.

    I don't know the slang yet. Its a 2016 access cab 4x4 TRD sport, inferno, tonneau cover, tow package, 6 speed manual!

    So guys I jumped the gun. Couldnt wait. Got my hands on a demo Black TRD Sport crew cab with the features I wanted! Tonneau and Tow Package. In a manual transmission too!

    Yes it was a demo. It has 3xx miles on it so I'm getting a great deal. Cost me less that what I would've paid for my ordered Inferno Access Cab TRD Sport. Crew Cab is a huge plus so I can fit more people and take it on road trips now! Picking her up tomorrow afternoon!
