My brother just gave me a copy for my B-day; I’m not a gamer at all. But I’m going to try this one since my brother said ‘it’s going to ruin your life’. Any tips before I put the disk in?

Harden your bark, there are storms on the horizon.
i vote the Barret .50 as the biggest letdown. (3) .50cal shots to put someone down??...c'mon. have also shot people in the back of the head from a short distance with the FAL and needed two shots...i likes the FAL though. as for the AK...i been layin people out with it...it does have a slow rate of fire. i don't like the Famas...maybe it's just me, but i've barely managed 300 kills with it. i just started messing around with the riot shield the other day...it's kinda fun.

The SCAR-H is my favorite for sure.

i think i'm gonna keep going on the challenges for a little while yet. maybe i'll prestige for the new year.

BTW...sending requests to those on the list (PS3) i don't already have.

The only time I needed to shoot someone 3 times with the Barret is when I used the suppressor to get the Thermal or Heartbeat (I forget which one). I don't use the stopping power either. I like to stay stealthy so I use ninja and cold-blood. Still usually one hit one kill for me. I mostly aim for the head too that's why I got the Fall camo for that gun already. I completed the mastery thing for the Barret and Famas, both guns you don't like lol. I haven't got to Level 70 yet so I can't say much about the AK except for the very little times I used it from picking it up......and I think it sucks.

Yesterday I killed 3 people at once with the Javelin and I was so happy!!! My first time using it, too.

Didn't know there were new challenges after you prestige. Is this only hardcore or either one?

Wow how many days have you logged? I'm at around 2days and 6 hours and I'm only level 64.

    Do a search.

There's a thread here with a list of people with gamertags for ps3 and xbox.

I like the regular one because people tend to "run" around a lot and I don't have to be too cautious. Hardcore is better because there's no map which means no red dot appears when shooting w/o UAV.

I usually do my FPS gaming on PC, like Counter-Strike etc. I really want to give the console games a try but do not know which to get. XBOX or PS3? Pros/Cons? I already have live so the cost of it isnt an issue.
