Nice truck!

I waited 2.5 months for a DCLBOR and when the dealer called me and said my truck had arrived, I showed up to find a DCSBOR sitting there. It was a tough decision, but I went ahead and purchased the short bed. There have certainly been days I wished I had the long bed.

Think I'm going to attempt to paint the fender flares myself. The dealer quoted me $1,400 today. I laughed at him and said that's outrageous.

 

Checking in from South Florida, picked up mine last Friday. DCSB TRD Sport 4x4 with premium technology package, moon roof, tow package, and bed cover.

 

Just picked my up today! Livin that magnetic gray life. super stoked about it and cant wait to start messing with it and start throwing an unreasonable amount of money towards parts lol. What are you guys doing to yours??

Picked them up on eBay. I took the Tacoma door emblem off. The one in the picture is an older one. They were a lot smaller. So I ordered new 2016 ones. Painted them with a black gloss lacquer. Came our great.

the ones in that pic are off an older Tacoma. But I pulled the trigger to soon and didn't realize the older emblems were smaller. So I ordered new 2016 ones on eBay for $55.00 and painted them prior to placing them on truck. Used paint from Home Depot. I don't care to much for the plasti dip finish.

 

I have the same problem with plasti dip which was keeping me from doing the emblems I also ordered from eBay. I will probably have to paint mine like you did as that finish looks a lot better IMO

 

Grille swapped out today...wasn't a fan of the chrome. Also put some Coverking leatherette seat covers on which fit better than expected.

 

Did you take the original seat covers off or did those go over top?

 

wheels got a bath outside Lopez Lake, CA.

 

Got mine last week, actually like the grill, the Limited is painted and just so happens that it is the same color as the truck

 

Anyone have pictures of the OEM mudguards or the weather tech mudflaps on the MGM?

 

I will in a few days. Just ordered the Weather Tech flaps.
