Brake lines will get replaced when the Camburg kit goes on . Also picked up a 9" Ford axle for when I regear (hopefully) later this year. 69" WMS, to better match the front end. Booya bro.

 

Why didn't you replace the rotors while you were at it? Those things warp at the drop of a hat.

 

That's a huge misconception. The pads improperly wear, not the rotors. The rotors are legit man. Ceramic brake pads aren't known for wearing well and evenly. Matter of fact, if they get too hot they will leave all kinds of brake material all over the rotor which will make you believe it is warped. All it needs in that case is a clean up and a brake rotor hub and hat clean up with a wire brush and all will be well.

 

Why not just get the stoptech 6 piston bbk? Then throw some disk's on th back for mad stopping power??

 

Lol, becauze I am mostly happy with the stopping power of the truck. Also, if I got all that, the kit would only be as effective in grip as my tires would offer and if I wanted to fully utilize it's stopping power, I would need sport tires.

Quad pistons on fixed calipers are plenty for me. I am very happy with them actually.

 

Because the 4 piston is fine with some better pads and rotors, and sometime this year or next when I install my 9" rear, it comes with rear disks . But rear breaking is pretty crap anyways.

 

I enjoy the big boy drums, but whatever makes you happy man!!

 

Meh, it wasn't by choice, the axle comes with disks. just have to run brake lines and it hooks up

 

What kind of pads is it supposed to take? Any idea? They better be some big ones. Put on the EBC's and you are set

 

EBC Stage 5 up front, unsure on the setup on the rear.

It's to match the front LT lol. So i don't have to run spacers, plus a stronger rear end than the 8.4

 

Ahh… I see what you are saying now. The 8.4 rear end is a lot stronger than the OR 8 inch rear end also. How hdd do you plan on running the freakin' thing?! Lol.

 

Its got axles for our wheels, just need to hook up brake lines, get a 3rd for it and hook it all up.

 

Cant get ATE super blue in the states anymore, it got banned because it dosent meet the DOT regulations for color, which is why we all bought it in the first place......

The new TRD shifter was expensive but an awesome little mod, and the red stitching on the front of the knob matches the interior stitching on the front seats as well. It feels great on the hand. It rides so much lower than stock and I love it!

 

Ew you got the sequoia shifter lol. Shoulda gone with the leather wrapped scion one I sold at my first mod day.

 

Those suck. And no it's from the Tundra Rock Warrior, and TRD Pro, as well as the Sequoia.

 

I have been doing a rough draft sketch for an engine cage. Here are the plans for the front end. Super rough sketch obviously. Any suggestions as something to add in there?
