Have you owned one previously? How well does it hold an edge? And is it easy to grip when it's wet? The dimpled surface looks like it'd help with that.
How's that finish hold up over time? I had a black-bladed gerber like that at one point and it looked like crap after a year or three because it had scratched all to hell. But it was over 10 years ago, so maybe they've improved their finish?

You'd be hard pressed to find another bag that copies the 5.11 Rush 12 so closely. lol

The "NO AMMO" stencil is a good idea. I have two ammo cans in the bed of my truck. One has straps, bungee, 550 cord and the other has light sticks, fire starting kit etc. I get some crazy looks from the guys at the gate on the base where I work. I know the days coming when I'm going to get pulled to the side for a closer look.

I'm starting to collect/ organize my gear in the truck, what are you all carrying in your trucks for tools for emergency vehicle repair?

I run remote for extended periods while chasing oil and gas wells around northern Canada. A history of inconvenience has me squirrelling stuff away behind those back seats. Without getting into my bag or recovery box, the tools I can think of without leaving my couch are:
    Socket set
    Wrench set
    Pliers and vise grips
    Wire brush
    Multi-bit screwdriver
    Torque wrench
    Test light
    Air compressor
    Tire plugs and valves
    Pressure gauge
    Flashlight
    Extendable magnet
    The spare parts are:
    Idler pulley
    Serpentine belt
    Wiper blade
    Headlight bulbs

I use the truck's tools for most of its servicing to justify carrying them. My truck only goes to the dealership when I'm picking up parts. I'll likely remember what I've forgotten here when I do spark plugs this weekend. I'll bet that however you load up to suit your needs, you will have plenty of space to carry it. Tacos are built for pack rats.

^ that's what I was looking for, I have my recovery, medical, and general purpose stuff covered, just wondering what I should have for tools. Right now I just have Philips and flathead screwdrivers, a small crescent wrench and a pair of pliers. I figured that would take care of most minor roadside repairs.

While this thread applies to 2nd gen truck specifically, it should give you some ideas to consider for your third gen truck.

Finished my EDC organizer, much less digging in the center console now. Next will be the IFAK.

    Very nice.

Handy, too, if you need to abandon your truck for some reason.

I like it! Add a 20 dollar bill and a small roll of duct tape and you are good for anything!

20$ bill is a good idea, the duct tape will go in my bug out bag, I'm still looking for a thin bag that will go in the storage behind the seat.

Is this in addition to a GHB/BOB?
