    Got the footwell LED Strips wired in. Now I just need to get the two under the Driver's Seat and two under the Passenger's seat wired in and that will be done.

    While I was at it and had the Driver's side A-pillar off I did the RAM Ball Mount A-Pillar Mod. Thanks @G.T. for the write up and thanks @SonnyBones for the extra hardware.

    KG5LXA here. New to Amateur radio, just got my Tech license and studying for the General as well. Actually a member of the Allen CERT here in Allen, Texas. I have turned an HT into a mobile unit. I made a mount for the HT in my truck and it holds it pretty stable like.

    I was going to use a fender mount like you got but it was made for 2010 Chevrolet trucks but others say it would fit but it might rub the hood. I decided to go with the Rentless Fabrication hood mount. Only bad thing is they come with a 1/2" hole, not 3/8" or 3/4" like we need for our antenna's. I had to drill out the fender mount hole too but it was thin stainless metal. This RF mount is 3/16" thick and work hardened and I already ruined one 5/8" bit trying to drill through it. It has to be annealed first before I attempt that again. I am using a Magnetic Antenna mounted on the hood close to where the hood mount antenna will eventually be. Here is the Hood mount link;

    Shoot me a PM with your email or just answer mine. KG5LXA clear.

    At last. Racing seats. No SRS code either!! And a Tundra TRD shift knob. Well worth the mod time, money and transformation.

    Dynatrac ProRock 60 Rear Axle, that is important enough.

    Put on the MGM grill that I got from a fellow member. All I need to do now is paint the rear bumper and then no more chrome on the outside!

    Dealer dipsticks used wrong oil and why is Walmart Mobil 1 0W20 so cheap??

    Went to a Toyota dealer to avail myself of the free 15K oil change, thinking surely a Toyota garage could competently do something as simple as an oil change... but NOOOOOO! After I got home and inspected the work invoice more closely I noticed they had put in 5W30. I should have checked the invoice before I left. Lesson learned, from now on I do as much maintenance as possible. So I went to Walmart, got some 0W20, and changed it myself.

    How is it that Walmart can sell a 5 qt. Mobil 1 0W20 $10 cheaper than anyone else? I can't help but be somewhat paranoid that what I'm buying is some Chinese knock-off Mobil 1. My mind keeps envisioning a bunch of chain-smoking, drunk, snickering Chinese mobsters pissing into fake Mobil 1 containers partially filled with corn syrup (to add viscosity)!
