Make sure you get that in writing then take it to another dealership and ask them to beat it, once they do get it in writing and take it back to the first dealership or try your luck at a third.

    Here she is.

Well I made a deal tonight on a new taco limited. MSRP was $40,908 with some optional equipment. The deal I worked out is :rimshot:......... $38,550 out the door. And they gave me a very fair price on my trade in also. $2,358 off MSRP I think is a good deal.

    Greetings, I intend on purchasing a new 2016 Taco TRD Sport Access cab soon, I live in Spokane Washington, and I want just the TRD Sport Access cab with no extras as it comes from the factory; without further a-do, and not having time to go back through pages of posts, is it possible to get a printable version of what I can use to rub the nose of a dealership with in the form of a rock bottom price. Zip,99203. Thanks in advance;

    Rick

Just read the first post on page 1, calculate the invoice price of the truck that you want, and contact a few (or more) dealers with an exact description of the truck you want, and your offering price. I emailed 30 dealers in WA and OR to get my Tacoma for invoice + $200 + TDA ($739 -- couldn't get anyone to budge on that) + $50 doc fee + tags ($211) + sales tax. Be prepared to adjust your price depending on the options that happen to come with the truck in the dealer's allocation (or from a dealer trade) -- usually stuff like mudguards, floor mats, maybe even something expensive like tube steps. The dealer is going to try to make money, so expect them to attempt to tack on high doc fees ($150-$600 was the range that I was given, but I negotiated down to $50), extended warranty (typical asking price is ~100% markup), paint protection, etc., etc. I made it clear that I didn't want any "extras," and my sales person (Dan Kerns, Titus-Will in Tacoma WA) honored that.

I have to post this deal. Somebody might be able to take advantage of it. I didn't want to post it in the "for sale" threads and mess with anybody's chance to sell theirs. It's not mine and I don't know the person but I thought I could give the members here a heads up. Btw it has the tech package and upgraded tires and its in Arizona

Husky Weatherbeaters LED bulbs everywhere Coming soon.... FN FX PRO 17's w/BFG KO2 Demello sliders ....a better looking grill and maybe an LED light bar.
Couple of questions from a new member. If you buy a TRD-OR DCLB, and purchase the JBL technology package......does it automatically come with a power moonroof? It looks like this configuration is only available in Blue or Barcelona Red from Toyota's website. Is this correct? What if I wanted these options in Magnetic Gray?

When I bought my truck I had similar questions. I finally worked with a dealer over email and they were able to get the truck I wanted even though the Toyota website said that configuration wasn't available, or was only available in color X

I'm pretty sure the website is just telling you what is currently in stock and ready to be sold.

Tech Pkg is connected to getting the moonroof... And heated seats!

Yes. That's a good deal especially if it was local and you didn't have to travel.

Hey guys, thanks for all the great info in this thread. I'm about to place an order for an OR 7544 and I want the HHpackage which is premium and tech without the JBL. Question though, is there an itemized list of what options come with the premium/tech package? Say I order this, and they deliver the truck, how do I verify all the options exist? The Toyota website doesn't give an itemized list of what comes with the packages.

Obviously I can check the major items - sunroof, color keyed rear bumper, BSM....but what about all the other options? I assume keyless entry, and push button start are included. But hard to tell without an itemized list. Anyone know where I could find that?

I'm wary of dealers after I had a Chevy dealer try to screw me over regarding what options were actually included.

Thanks Cuffs! At the risk of making myself look like an idiot, where'd you find this? I feel like when I was building my own on the Toyota website, it didn't list these out very clearly.

Google is your friend! You just have to manipulate key words to get the results you're looking for.

On the build page. Click "View Details" on the package and it pulls up each item.

Not sure if someone has a way of adding the "port options," but I stopped by the dealership and saw some that I was unfamiliar with. One that looked interesting was 2 USB ports in the back seat and the price was around $175. Gulf States Toyota.

that's a unique add on from GST, its not a Toyota option.

my list is only Toyota options. I cant account for unique add-ons from GST (gulf states Toyota) or SET (southeast Toyota). they fall outside of Toyota rules just like California CARB board can set rules outside of the EPA.
