Wrapped my exhaust reroute with heat wrap and found out I'm low on both coolant and power steering fluid.

Nothing but maintenance for the foreseeable future...

 

Next time you do that, lay a heavy blanket or carhart jacket over the line...that way if it snaps loose, the jacket/blacket will slow down the travel of the oncoming hook!

ahh, clarification is a wonderful thing

 

I'm not the biggest car guy so I'm surprised that ANY car engine takes a 0W** engine oil. Figured that would be like, as you mentioned with the Mobil1, running piss in the engine during summer.

 

So driving with just fogs on is beneficial?

When in fog, yes. Daily driving? No.

Illegal in many states. Not enforced in most cases, but can be on a whim. Illegal to have fog lights AND headlights on at the same time. Enforced occasionally in Kentucky same as "failure to dim"......Don't ask me how I know....

 

You probably put HIDs in stock housings too.

 

Stupid question of the day then... Do they not work, or work as well in stock housings?!

 

It's bad to use halogen lamp housings or any housing not designed for HID. The optics are all wrong and you end up with glare. Lots and lots of glare. Some OEM lights are less bad than others but for me and many others it is very 'ricey' to just put HID's in a stock housing with a correct retrofit for safety's sake!

I just made fun of my buddy that was driving down the street yesterday. I got home and text him....I said "when you waved and I flipped you off, could you see my finger thru all the fog?" He said "what"? I said it's sunny and 65 and the middle of the day....TURN OFF YOUR STUPID FUCKING "FOG" LIGHTS. He said "but they look cool" NO! There for fog. I use mine maybe 10 days out of the year in October.

 

@la0d0g you need to change your profile pic. Every day I tell myself I dont need a snorkel, then you pop up and I start shopping for snorkels again... Lol Probably would have done it by now if I could convince my fenders to let me cut them.
