been there! I've been having really good luck with this ceramic egg. I've been smoking whole beer can chickens as part of my weekly meal prep with pretty great results. Those pellet fed smokers are pretty cool though.

I just love that you can grill on them because they can get up to 475. It's a nice all in one kinda item.

Just $$$$. But I am exactly 1 mile due west of them, sneak in the back. :anonymous:

I really like Hek Yeah BBQ near Greenway on Cave Creek. My buddy said Naked BBQ on Bell near I-17 is better than Bobby Q's.

And speaking of cooking.. If any of you guys are into some really nice high end Japanese chef's knives, you should check out Phoenix Knife House. I just had them sharpen my Japanese knives and they are stupid sharp! Ended up leaving with another addition to my collection as well.

I need to get a good set of cooking knives. I always think about it when I'm cooking but when I take the time to shop for them, I always find a way to tell myself why I don't need them.

If you truly enjoy cooking, there's not much better than a really good set of knives. My Japanese knives are all Damascus steel, perfectly balanced, hold an edge much longer and are stupid sharp.. Whenever your in Phx, it's worth swinging by. Really cool little shop, owners are awesome and when your done, you can go across the street to O.H.S.O for some beers.

I have a Big Green Egg and do mostly pulled pork and pork ribs on hickory/pecan. Other than Little Miss, I like my own better than most of the other BBQ places in town. Wood smoked steaks done with a reverse sear are awesome as well. I need to try a fatty (BBQ) soon also.

Tested out a new scope today. Nightforce NXS 2.5-10x42. Pretty nice but a big disappointment that the lite reticle can't be seen in the day light.
A friends 5 shot group on top, my 8 shot group on bottom. Decent but not great.

    Si Senor. Right on 87.

We are suppose to get a Jimmy John's, but who knows if that will ever happen.

I would kill for a Firehouse subs in Payson.

On another note, Speed Bleeders are the best thing since head on beer.

Choices are limited in Payson. Five Guys is better than JiB or BK.
