I wanted an Avid till I saw it with the mandatory Massachusetts license plate. I should've kept my green plate....

 

My buddy uses two strong magnets he glued to the plates and now its a "removable" front plate..

 

I haven't had a front tag on any of my cars in over a year

 

Knock on wood...

 

I've got a history.... I ain't looking for any excuse to get pulled over..... I went 4 years without a license, never again.......

 

Damn cant even imagine!! I'm with you, I almost asked the dealer not to install the front plate but really don't want an excuse to get pulled over. Hate front plates though!!!!!

 

Hate the tint laws in mass. Why can a police car be tinted out but I can't. On the flip side, finally got my appointment for tomorrow to get it done.

 

I did 30 days without a license and it sucked . Fuck 4 years

 

Do bull bars really have any redeeming qualities? They look like crap, are damage multipliers, kill your approach angle and they look like crap!

 

If you're short like me they give you something to stand on while you work under the hood.

 

What did you guys do to get the suspension?

 

can you stand on them?

 

A buddy of mine had one on a Grand Cherokee at one point, and I did while we were tinkering under the hood. Didn't hurt it any.

Might depend on the vehicle, though.

 

Do you not have a bumper? I always stand on my tire and lean over from the side. The Ferd is nice because the hood and grille are one piece so the whole front end opens up. (Insert jokes about Ford making it easy to work on their vehicles because you have to do it so often)

If you weigh like 100#, sure. I wouldn't recommend it though. Some are better supported than others. The ones I've seen are just end mounted, very flimsy.

 

I got to many tickets in a year so I got the 30 day suspension. Then got another ticket within a year after getting it back so they automatically take it for a year. Then while on the 1 year suspension I got caught driving that's when I got the 4 years.

You should have gotten a ladder or steps built in to your new bumper.

Bumper's hard on the knees, though. Changing a serp belt is easier from the front, usually, too.

 

6 inch stilettos. Problem solved.
