hmm not what I was hoping to hear lol I have no patients, with the truck payment itself and saving for a down payment it could be a year or more before I could purchase it all together. I can get that kit in 2 months max, probably next month.

Why get it all at once? I think getting it as you can with discounts is the best route personally @TheTacoma

Lose the spacer quickly, don't push it with a spacer. Shit goes bad quick.

Then stop trying to stick your head in the clouds and aim for about 2.5" lift max with the coilover. Get a good uniball UCA's and a good bump stop up front. You can also go uniball lca but not as necessary as the uca

I have TC UCAs on already. I was going to run the spacer just until I got the Kings. My tires would rub in places if I didn't have the lift...

My thinking as well, maybe they will have another group buy for TC even.

Then they will also rub with the lift. Your suspension cycle is still the same. Your static position is the only change. If it rubs at any point it will rub no matter what.

I don't think that's correct. If my tires sat 3" up more they would potentially catch my front bumper a bit when I turned. At the position they are now, they sit below the bumper more and therefore have no risk of hitting it while turning.

Compress your suspension 3". If they rub under compression then they would rub sitting stock. Again, lift has zero to do with what tire size you can fit. If you are actually using and cycling the suspension. Guys out here run 33's on stock suspension and 35's on 2.5" of lift.

The only way a lift helps you stuff larger tires is if you stay in the mall parking lot.

If I compress AND turn then they will rub. Lift has everything to do with not rubbing while daily driving (99% of my time). So with new suspension, I want to be able to daily drive and not rub while turning. A straight compression I have zero rubbing anywhere, but once I turn the wheel while compressed I'm positive it would rub.

That's why it's called cycling the suspension. That means full compression to full droop lock to lock.

Lol my bad I didn't know the proper "lingo". So...back to the original topic...if I run the Kings at 2-2.5"...will my 285/70s be able to daily drive? I know there is potential for rubbing at full compression and full lock, but I can take care of that when the time comes.

I run mine at 2.25" and will be going with 34s soon. Currently running true 33's in both AT and MT just fine.

Thanks for the info Justin! I may have to consider Kings also.

As for rubbing, cutting is not hard. Even the cab mount chop is pretty straight forward.

Also remember Justin is running pizza cutters. Makes a difference in turn rubbing.

So now you are starting to understand why I am looking for a 285/70 to start testing with. Need one with a 4.5 backspace wheel to really know what the real results will be.
