My daughter is living in Tujunga right now training for the equestrian worlds competition coming up in France, so I'll ask her to look for a 1st Gen Tacoma and give it it big thumbs up from me, you'll know it's from a fan in Vancouver, Canada if you see it.

    She's a Tacoma fan too!

Yup, she's training in Shadow Hills on both a U.S. team and Canadian team. To be honest, when she said Tujunga I had no idea what she was talking about, even though being down to L.A. multiple times, but sounds like a great place to live and love L.A. As a tourist destination! You guys are lucky with what you have down there.

There she is! Took the pictures on the way out the door this morning, so the lighting was very poor. Will get some better pictures soon.

I need to stick to the 3rd gen threads. It hurts too much looking at the 1st gens missing my 04.

Did you replace the timing belt as well? I replaced the TB and WP at ~90k miles on mine.

Bummer. Just discover this wonderful frame rust near the rear wheel well. Is there anything I can do?

Anything you can do? Pray your new truck qualifies for a frame recall replacement. If you can already see that much visiable damage you can only guess how much interior frame damage that has yet to show itself. Better start making some calls.

All those folks saying, "best decision ever"...um yeah.
