2016 Tacoma nose seems too long (purely for styling?)

    OK... How does this design crumple pedestrians..?? It looks pretty weak to be "crumpling any pedestrians", don't ya'll think... I think I could "crumple" a pedestrian a lot easier with a good strong steel bumper, and it won't mess up my paint, except for the blood, of course....It'll wash off..!

    I think the long front end makes the short bed look super weird. Look how short the bed is and how long the front end. DCLB looks much more proportional.

    The Taco is starting to get that 1970s Ford LTD aircraft carrier profile, isn't it?

    1972 LTD2.jpg

    By the late 70s the hood was acres long.

    Doesn't change the point system...
    Kids under 12 = 10 points
    Teenagers = 50 points
    Adults = 20 points
    That dog that keeps shitting in my yard... All the points
    My dog... = your life lol

    I like the big ass nose by the way... More room for lights/winch controls etc

    Scoring is only kept via fender decals showing how many pedestrians you've made contact with.

    Much like the war planes of yesteryear..

    That's still a thing BTW... And someone needs to get on that... Or is that what those stick figure family decals are actually for?

    Stick figure family decals are readily available and cheap.

    For extra style points you could use a red paint pen and hit them with the X mark.

    Well let's delete these posts before we accidentally hit someone and the families lawyer finds this and claims pre-meditation :evil:

    You should get extra points for hitting people with the 2016 Tacoma, but you have to finish them off. That huge pedestrian crumple zone means many may survive. You are kind of at a handicap with this new truck.

    The lower bumper valance that sticks out is to clip someone low and toss them on the hood instead of under the truck. If you look at the inner fenders they are well above the structural inner fender. Designed to crush in case of impact.

    Then wouldn't you need to backup to thoroughly crumple a pedestrian? Seems like this would waste fuel.

    The all new 3.5L V6 with Atkinson technology both improves fuel efficiency, and also produces enough low end torque to effortlessly back over pedestrians. For large pedestrians, the all new Crawl Control feature can assist the vehicle in conquering the largest among us.
