I'd be down. Might be hard for me to get time off to come down in late may/june since I work 7 days a week. I can probably figure it out though

    I'm gonna be a dick.

The claim that this is the only snorkel that can mount to a super charger is bullshit.

I hope they fixed the pillar mount clip because it's 100% garbage. You have to bend it to line up ONE of the holes on the neck .. But there are 2.

The plumbing from under the hood to the under the fender isn't the right size, you'll have to make the hole bigger.

The manufacturer isn't much help if you have any questions or issues.

I have never had any of these problems...? maybe you got a bad one?

EDIT: And to my knowledge the ARB/Safari snorkel doesn't have adequate airflow for a SC

EDIT 2: I am just a TW member trying to get snorkels out to the members for a cheaper price.

Applaud your efforts, I'm just letting people know from personal experience.
1: there are 2 holes on the neck, but the supplied pillar bracket only has 1 hole and it doesn't line up, you have to persuade it.
2: template is fine, the hole for the ducting on your truck is smaller than the duct they (airflow) supplies.

Thanks for letting me/us know. Have been hearing mixed reviews on the snorkel. It seems for every 10 I hear good things there's always 1 that had a bad experience.

Don't know if I am going to run the upper clip so not too worried about that. Can always run a smaller inner tube as well if it doesn't affect airflow. Worst case a bit of trimming at the extent of the job won't hurt. Defientrly good to know so it's not a surprise. Can understand how that could be frustrating. Gotta love surprises.

Thanks for the heads up but I'm pretty sure if we are willing to cut into our fenders we should be able to be handy enough to figure it out. But once again thanks for the heads up, I'll prepare to just cut a little more

I've had mine for a couple years. Yes, the instructions weren't the greatest. Take your time and line the template up 32X, it's a guide. The A-Pillar bracket is weak. Personally I wouldn't have drilled into the A-Pillar if it was made of dupleted uranium. I ended up bending it to match the snorkel and A-Pillar and used Scotch two sided weather/weapons proof tape and mounting it that way. It's been there for two years with no problems and I'm running the bulky pre-filter as well. The plumbing under the hood fit as well with some sweet talking and gentle pursuasion. You guys already know that this isn't a mod for Joe Autozone, there's going to be some tweaking involved.

Please tell me that's the pre filter that comes with it! It will look perfect for what I'm going for.

Actually, CA cares. Since we are cutting and tapping into the OEM intake, we will fail the visual inspection of the smog check here. Unless this thing comes with a CARB EO#.

A smog tech failed me for a crack in a vacuum hose before.

Of course I can always run one and remove it every 2 years for the inspection, and slap a zombie sticker on to cover the holes on the fender. But shit, I promised myself to never go back to that Fast n Furious life. :)

I would also ditch the head of it ASAP and switch to a prefilter. I dumped out all kinds of shit - water, dirt, hay, countless bugs.. Etc. not saying the head won't do its job but the pre filter worked for sure.
