True, I was aiming for an xc or w. This one came up and was worth it even though it's got a close ratio box (sx). It's geared 13-52 (from what i remember) so 1st gear is fine for trails and 5th gear is fast enough for what i'll be doing with it. It's got a recluse clutch, steering stabilizer, big gas tank, softer Enduro engineering fork and shock, fmf fatty pipe, yada yada. Was nice to buy a bike setup with the stuff i wanted.

front wheel is getting new bearings soon and the forks are getting new seals and bushings as well. After that and sprockets/chain in the near future the bike is ready for the summer!

Ugh, yea Jen said its been a banger storm! I feel bad that im gone haha.

Sweet dude! Yeah that 52 should help a ton! What's the deal with rekluse clutch? I honestly don't understand why you'd want to make a dirt bike an automatic... I get it's nice so you can't kill it in a tough situation but like... you need to rev up your engine and slip your clutch all the time... and they're wet clutches so they won't burn up. I just don't get it...

Haha, its not automatic. I still chop the throttle to shift up past 1st. Idk, we'll see how it goes, if I end up not liking it I'll put the stock back in.

Well, I guess I don't get it? Do you ever pull in the clutch?

Well I've only got one ride on it and I still rode it kinda like a normal bike. Not used to it yet

It makes it to where you can have it in gear and let out the clutch and not move. You still have to shift normally. From what I understand. Believe the benefit is at low speed it doesn't stall.

    Sick dent
Rekluse clutches are sweet, I almost bought one but they're a bit pricey new. Perfect for when it gets really nasty on the trails. I'm sure 99% of enduro riders use them. Works just like a normal clutch if I'm not mistaken. Just have the added benefits of being able to sit at a dead stop while in gear which comes in handy when you need to throw the bike around in some tight terrain.

Exactly how it works. Really just for in case you get in a pinch and are in the wrong gear the motor won't stall.

2 bikes will make my rig squat, but it still rides fine. I imagine my carrier is a lot lighter than your since it is mostly aluminum. My 4 stroke is a bit heavier than your 2 stroke I imagine so it might even out.

I need one of these! How much did you spend on yours? Between my two bikes is about 500lbs

I built my dual bike hauler for 80$. My welds got my bike from SLC to Lander so next is trying two bikes! My carrier weight is 85#. I liked building it because I could make it exactly how I wanted it.

I thought about the harbor freight trailer, but it's easier to store the carrier and I don't have to license the carrier either.

Probably takes up a little less space.

I just looked up ks law and it doesn't require registration unless the load + trailer > 2000lbs. Which it wouldn't be in my case. I still need a swingout tok for my spare so idk that an off the shelf receiver carrier would work

Also I did a full once over on the bike today and yesterday. Rebuilt forks, new clutch lever, new front wheel bearings, repacked the silencer, fixed the kickstand, added tach/hour meter, and cleaned everything. She's a slick Ricky now!
