its honestly sad what i've learned for Excel. its not too hard, some of the formulas are frustrating as hell but i've built the workbook we use for our estimates and project management to see it all the way from creation to completion. Im shocked i dont wear glasses to be honest, all day long staring into the soul of my monitor.

 

Yeah the formulas make my brain hurt. I just want to get my degree and go back to being an operator lol

 

If your users are made to select from long named-range drop-down lists to satisfy validation in cells, consider switching over to Google Sheets. The drop-downs are searchable (as you'd expect from Google) in there. Answered the chief complaint from our account guys and improved response times to customers. Way easier to deal with updates, too.

 

Ours is mainly linked cells and formulas for sizing and price configurations with profit margins and waste for all different types of flooring for the bid. One sheet feeds off the previous ones and so on.

But that's good to know.

I would say they definitely are at that price. Cheaper to through away then ship back for repair.
