    Glad to see it done, sorry for all the delays. Looks good but will look even better with the RTT!

    From what I understand you are speaking of Laser not Radar. At any rate, around here it is extremely rare to see anyone actually manually using a gun. Every Highway Patrol Cruiser and the police on the beach towns around here run with the radar on all the time, I can tell when we will encounter a cop over a mile away, even if around bends in the road. It works here long before they see me. I agree though, if they shoot me with a Laser gun I am sure they have me. I work on the beach, and the police on the beach have nothing to do but catch speeders, they even will look for any reason they can to pull you over just to check to see if you had been drinking. I once got pulled over doing 37 in a 35, I got a lecture about what the word "limit" means when I told him I saw him and was making sure I was doing the limit. No ticket, just a lecture and wanted to run my tag/license.
    I don't usually speed too much anymore anyway, so I am not worried about getting popped by Laser. I just like to know where they are so I can avoid situations like that one.
    I am pro LEO, and we do have a drunk driving problem in this area, so I know they are doing this to get a handle on that in any way they can, I just don't want to deal with it if I don't have to.

    I did this about 7 years ago, so I'll try to explain how I remember it;
    I hollowed out a blank switch, took apart the casing on the smartcord, drilled the the hole for the button, and glued it all together with hot glue. The two holes for the lights need to be near the LEDs on the circuit, but don't need to be 100% exact or the same size. I used hot glue in the holes, and wiped them off immediately so the face is flush and the glue is in the holes and touching the LEDs, now when the lights come on, it transfers the light through the glue and looks like it came that way.
    Id rather move the mute button to the center console somewhere, I'd rather be able to hit it with my right hand.

    Umm, face shield for using a K12???? He's got safety glasses on, he's good in my book and being an officer on my truck I would let my guys cut like that all day long. As I get older I do agree that the nozzleman should be wearing his SCBA but car fires are one of those things where some guys just feel it's not necessary. Hell in my younger days I rarely masked up on car fires as well and hope now that I am older I do not suffer from my poor judgement of days of being full of piss and vinegar. I make my guys mask up for car fires every time. Not only because of the smoke but when you get cars with magnesium, I have seen that sh*t pit masks and would never want that to be one of my guys faces.

    I would get a completely new grille. With this one you have to tear down your oem grille and then glue the mesh into place. Then it is permanent and you will prob never be able to take it apart. I thought about it, but decided against it.

    OP, take the insurance and buy a badass bumper and grille and do the work yourself. You'd probably break even.

    I sewed one on my 2013 4R a couple of months ago, not an easy mod; plan on 3-5 hours. I was really pleased with the results. The steering wheels between 5th gen 4RUNNER (2010-2016) and 3rd gen Tacoma are the same. What happened to your steering wheel?image.jpg

    Fat Bob's Garage had the TAC-TOY today to install a set of Firstone airbags on the rear and decided to flex it a bit. :thumbsup:

    This build really needs fender flares. Good thing Bushwacker agreed to sponsorship today. :cheers:

    Can you post a couple of more pictures of the brackets from different angels? How do they attach to the frame? I can see where they attach to the LED bar, but do they simply attach to an existing bolt on the frame? Any drilling required? Much appreciate it.

    @ashrr213: Can you provide more pics. I'd like to see more of how the Mobtown bars are able to be used with the Pace Edwards.
