Well. Tried to install the leafs and about 3 hours in and I wrecked one of the shackle bolts, also the shackle is super far forward.. The leaf isn't on backwards, they're the right springs, I'm hoping that the angle
Will improve with settling and weight.

More bad news, two of the metal bushing sleeves toytec sent me aren't the right size. Bummer. I'm gunna tell them to overnight me the replacement part along with some shackles. The truck will be sitting like this until further notice haha

Damn I wish I had known, I'll have spare new OME bushings for these at my house on the other side of the state.

So you know the part I'm talking about, the metal sleeve/tube that goes inside the bushings that the front/rear hanger bolts go through.. The one they sent me
Is too narrow for the bolts :/
The more the marrier! Things don't always go wrong with this truck, I promise!! Haha.

I didn't use those because I used a Daystar greasable bushing and bolt set for the front hanger and the OME greasable shackles and bushings for the rear hangers.

Got the extended break line on today and did a bleed.
    image.jpg
Also got a replacement shackle since I broke the previous one. In the process of getting one leaf pack on, since that's all I can do for now.

Drivers side leaf spring went on without much hassle.. I jacked up the axle a bit and the shackle was still at under a 90 angle... Still hoping it'll settle over time/being weighed down

FINALLY got the rear end buttoned up. It rides great! Not too stiff at all but feels like it can carry a load.. I am getting some gnarly drive line vibrations though.. The whole truck is shuttering around 20mph. Any ideas? I was thinking axle degree
Shims or dropping the carrier bearing a few inches? Doesn't look like to would be too hard..

Carrier bearing for sure, if you still have vibes after that then try axle shims.

Hmm. I've seen a few threads on it before but I'll do some research

Bought the shims, should be here by Friday I hope! Coilovers aren't on yet. I've just been really busy with work.. I had a few minutes of light to go up into some hills by my house and do a little flex test though!
    image.jpg
Thinking I might need longer shocks eventually, in which case I'd relocate them... We'll see

tested the new suspension today. Its pretty noisy in the back with an occasional clanking noise. Not super worried though. Still waiting on the shims to get in. Next up is wheels and tires
