    Yeah, I used to do the same thing. I prefer the stick like 90% of the time. Every so often I'm feeling lazy and wish for the ease of an auto, but meh. Did that on the prerunner, prefer the manunal nowadays.

    That's also an SC thing I think too, I have some pretty good bottom end, but I definitely feel like the power comes on at about 2500+

    You mean it pops under the seat. With as much sharp shit as there is under there, it will go off and pop the moment it hits anything sharp, rendering it useless as it would be if I didn't run it anyways.

    Or it will blow your seat off of the mounts and then you're fucked lol. I'd at least set it towards the front or rear so when it blows it just blows out and not down lol

    I build about 7 psi with the 2.85, doesn't seem ambient temperature matters. I have no idea before as I didn't have a boost gauge? But seeing peoples' claims, I would think the exhaust systems are somewhat responsible for the variations, besides the temps and elevation. Since there is a bypass valve, I'm guessing not adjustable, we have no way to really change the boost levels? Also, isn't comparing boost pressure really not a good judge in supercharger applications anyway, it's about moving air, not building boost? So, a less restrictive exhaust may have lower boost because there is a path if travel for the air to flow through, but without knowing the cfm's, how does one really know that a higher boost psi is actually better?
    This will be questionable/opinionated topic, but my MPG's seem to have gone up 1.5-2 mpg's @ cruising speed with the 2.85 pulley?
    Getting the cap off the fuel cell was the hardest part of the fuel pump swap. I used the hammer/screwdriver method with a couple broken teeth off the cap in the process, but the strap wrench wasn't doing anything but stretching and pissing me off.

    Billstein 5100s set at 2.5 in the front,2in AAL in the rear with 5100s
    IPT valve body. That mod along dropped me from a 14.47 to a 14.25. I also noticed that the truck felt like it had a little more pepp. I believe the trans was slipping after the 1-2 shift. I know for sure it fixed the rpm flare between shifts.

    Also I tried shifting the truck myself and it was slower every time. Letting the trans do all the shifting is faster for me.

    There is no wastegate on the s/c. Only a bypass valve. It is mechanically operated, in similar fashion as a wastegate, by a vacuum source. However, it does not regulate boost.

    D.A. will affect boost numbers. Flow efficiency, will also increase or decrease boost numbers. As efficiency increases, referenced boost numbers will decrease, while power increases, pulley size being constant.

    My typing sucks and TW doesn't work right. sometimes it takes forever to post, or even log in. The wheel just keeps going round and round? It also doesn't like to quote people and all the sudden will pop up in the middle of my one finger assault on the keyboard. Pretty sure it is my TW punishment for starting arguments and "trolling".

    Boost is the reference for the expected power level, based on defined set of mods compared to another's of similar location and equal to or varying mods. Builds a generalized view and understanding of what to expect power wise when going into future mods, for one.

    This is why similar vehicles, with similar mods should dyno on the same dyno (if at all possible) to show equatable baselines, and proofs of gains from said baselines.

    The seats are stronger than the airbag. The airbag is only capable of maybe breaking your bones if you are seated in the wrong position or something. Metal is stronger than hardened calcium. The seat is there to stay regardless of bag or not.

    If I point it towards the front or rear, the front will kick out and send my feet flying up towards the dash. Breaking my legs in the process. The rear will deploy at the rear passengers feet. Breaking their feet and or legs in the process. I'd rather it deploy and puncture under there than anything else, but there is no way for me to mount it on the side.

    Airbags are made of some extremely tough nylon fibers and inflate in under 20 milliseconds which packs some serious force. Some airbags even come stored in a steel enclosure that they blow out of. I'd be careful and not trust that the 4 bolts have enough thread to hold when one goes off.

    Hahaha that test! :) there was something funny about watching that fly and make all that noise.

    The deal with this is this airbag is it's made of just cloth. As I had to transfer it over from my seat the bag was made of a very soft clothlike material which could tear fairly easily if ejected and sharp objects are in it's way. Hell it was starting to come torn just trying to remove the cloth cover from the mounting studs as I was trying to remove it from the old seat. The steering wheel airbag is likely a different story and is nylon. This seat side airbag is nothing tough and serves more as a cushion while the side curtain airbag handles the blunt of the impact.

    The way these seat side airbags are designed, they are housed inside a metallic container, with a top where it plugs into. Kind of reminds me as a water bottle. They are designed to keep the container in place as the bag ejects. Yes it may be strong, but it is not forcing it's way past the seat bracket bolted through the cab or the seat sliders attached using grade 8 fasteners without puncturing first. I have no doubt about that in my mind either.
