I plan on keeping my new Tacoma for a while. One thing that always gets beat up first (when I don't have a cover) is my steering wheel (too much eating in the car I think plus sweat here in Florida:) Anyway, looking for some recommendations on a decent steering wheel cover that works fine on 2016 Taco. Difficult to tell shopping online for ones if they'll be fine on 2016 or not. Preferably one that isn't a b*tch to put on.

    Thanks!

I like the memory foam wheel covers as they keep the steering wheel cool. However the one I ordered from AutoAnything does NOT fit the Tacoma. I made it fit buy ripping a section loose. Looks like Ass but Kept those cuts and stretches to the bottom of the wheel. 90% looks fine.

Does toyota make one that fits the toyota contours of their steering wheel? I too plan to protect as much as I can.
Im also looking for seat covers, but not those krazio thousand dollar ones, something under a hundo.

Nice find. The customer service at www.wheelskins.com said they would be able to make a cover to match the contours of the 2016 tacoma steering wheel

So I shouldn't just order eurotone two color one there selecting tacoma 2016? I need to call them to get one to match the contours?

    Heres their responce:
"We can make you a cover to fit just make sure if yuou order from our website to put a note in the comments about the wheel being the odd size!"

    Thanks, carol

I'm a bit skeptical they'd get that right just from a picture. Let me know if you end up ordering that custom one (or whatever one you go with ) and how it works out. Thanks!

I jut ordered a Wheelskin.com for the MX-5 . I am doing the red on top and bottom $69. Jury is out on the Tacoma. I like the memory foam on it (even though it was too small and I had to rip it a bit to install it.

LOVE AliExpress. Takes a bit of time but the savings are worth it in some areas of commerce.

This application involves permanent tape and is meant for steering wheels that are plastic, 2010-2013 4Runner for example; you are not going to want to put this on your 2016 leather steering wheel, nor will it fit over the factory leather.

So has anyone decided to go with something from wheelskin? Curious to see if the predicted fitment issue will be a thing before I order.

What color stitching did you use?

And where did you order from?

My base SR will have a rubber wheel and this would be perfect

These wheels are already extra thick, have no ergonomic contours, and feels like I'm holding a can of soda when I'm driving. Can't imagine wrapping it and making even thicker.

i want it for the protection. Im a little OCD i like to keep everything perfect.

And the leather would probably be better then the rubber.
