3" = ID of the coil spring, in this case providing .25" clearance for the 2.5" shock body. A 2" shock body would use a 2.5" ID coil and so on.

14" = free length of the spring

    600 lbs/in = spring rate

    New frame.

Same I guess? Actually worse because I have billy 5100's on 625lb eibachs with no weight up front right now. Gotta get the bumper, crossmember and skids back on. Also got used to how a 2016 4runner rides...

With the new frame do you have to put that cross member on?

    Thank you!
Yeah I had to cut off the crossmember we welded on and then cut out the extensions we put on too. Hopefully it will be a matter of making new extensions and slapping it on.

Damn so all that work just to get a new frame later and then it would've bolted straight up....

    It could be worse ha

Oh no we are still welding it on. There is no way to mount an addicted offroad front bumper without welding. It would not be able to take the abuse of recoveries or heavy winching. The crush cans on a first gen tacoma are weak as shit, so the crush cans will be removed and extensions are welded directly to the frame rails. The frame extensions are 1/4" wall rectangular tube and the crossmember itself is 1/4" as well. Beefy as shit when all is said and done.

Oh yeah Addicted off-road makes bumpers for the 98-00 frame which is about 3" longer in the front. If we go any other bumper we have to cut 3" off

So I bought a Sonoran Steel limiting strap kit for my truck and am going to use this with some OEM kings. Has anyone else done this with that shock? I know I need to get longer M14 bolts to make it work with the Kings but does anyone know exactly how long?

So if my lower heims are bad I could put the bolt all the way through the balljoint thing and it would be a really loose fit or I could rotate the whole joint usingthe bolt?

I would say if there is play in the whole joint themselves then they need replaced.

Not an expert on this though...

I think you misunderstood. It is suppose to move. But there is a difference between having play, and moving lol. Does it have movement where its suppose to be having movement? If so, then it needs replaced. That's with any kind of bearing.
