After driving my mom's 08'ish Honda Ridgeline v6... I continue to sulk over how shitty my 4.0 Toyota v6 is. This thing feels so damn peppy, no issues on the highway. I'm driving in OH/KY/TN, "mountains" and using the cruise control and it's either just revved or dropped a gear without me noticing instead of dropping a great and going WOT up the smallest of hills like I'm used to in my truck. I wouldn't want to do the off-road stuff in this truck but there's no reason my 7 year newer truck should have less power/torque and mpg, and this thing is awd.

    Rant over.

just throwing it out there. im new to the area and have no friends that go wheeling out here (like to meet some). im north of denver metro area in brighton (just off the 25 and the 7 (next exit after the 470) and have facilities that we can work on stuff. any 1 day mod (and others if need be) that someone might need help with im down. ive built complete off road trucks and do know wiring. (and these finicky toyotas). tube bender, notchers, small lathe, blast cabinet (comes in supper handy) welders (tig and mig) plasma cutter (get rid off all that unnecessary sheet metal)
im just a hobbyist that likes trucks and would like to meet other like minded individuals.
a little pic of the shop.

Depends how old you are. Older folk tend towards pop with the younguns leaning towards soda.

Yeah, not being able to buy alcohol in most grocery stores is a real bummer. That's one thing California got right. I lived in San Luis Obispo for 6 years.

do you have the lights in your rear bumper wired into your reverse wiring? I'm looking into tying my rigids into the reverse wires so they go on when in reverse as well as having an auxiliary switch to turn them on whenever. Found a few threads about it but got confused lol
