I traded in my White 08 Rugged on Tuesday night for my new OffRoad in Quicksand. I've already added the running boards, blacked out the badges, added tailgate and glove box letters and put in my WeatherTech mats. The front lift is on ordered and should be installed in a few weeks and the grill will be painted tonight.

Sorry about the crappy photo's but I'll take some better ones soon. These are some before and afters.

If you want to do something quick and cheap to add some black, get some tailgate inserts. See the post right above this one with the pictures of the rear. Makes a big difference on the QS IMO.

The truck looks great. How hard was it to remove the black vnyl on the doors?

Peel at about a 45 deg angle and do on a warmer day. As you peel keep moving your fingers keeping them close to the truck and that seemed to allow me to get larger pieces off before it would tear. There was little residue to clean up after.

Think I am just going to pull mine and paint them black. Had the door handles on a Chevy dipped and had to redo them about every 6 months.

Will do... I have some left over matte black DuPont paint from another project so cost is nil for me to do it. It will just be a day off and truck down for a day with no door handles.
