To be fair 6 is about right. If that first game they lose then they lose home ice advantage. I'm okay with the NHL ruling and it's a good balance between allowing a star to play in the playoffs and punishing him for being an idiot.

 

That and 1 playoff game equals 2 reg season

Meh, I hate that formula. That's why PK Subban was allowed to play after his vicious slash on Stone last year which was absolute Bullshit. He hits a guy in the arm hard enough, intentionally, with his stick to give him a hairline fracture and he only misses a couple of periods in a game where his team is already up a couple of goals? Bullshit.

Hmmm, could be. McDavid has a slightly better points per game ratio and nearly the same +/- while playing on a far FAR weaker team. If it wasn't for the games McDavid missed he'd be the hands down winner. I think given McDavid's performance in his shortened season he could still be a contender for the reasons I mentioned.
