Entune and iPhone Messaging

You may be up to date. When did you take delivery?

 

IPhone 6 and messages work fine in that they pop up and I have the option to play the message but not read it while the truck is in motion.

 

Wednesday, 3/30.

 

It will not display the actual text message on the screen while you are in motion, only read it to you. It's a safety feature. If you stop at a light, the message will be viewable.

 

Make sure the en tune app is updated, go in your phone setting than Bluetooth on my device touch the blue exclamation and turn on notification it should be able to resolve the issue receiving text, if not please let me know

 

you still need to update no matter when the truck was built,

 

So, based on my Post #20, how would I do that?

That does not resolve the issue; it is a way around it. Siri works just fine this way, but I paid for all of the Entune junk and want to get it to work properly.

To me, this is like addressing that my 4x4 on my OR model won't work, by telling me to not go off road.

 

Everything works just fine with my Android phone.

I often go into Fiat forums and post how great my Toyota functions, too.

 

Maybe if you want trouble free phone functionality in your truck, you might consider switching phones.....

So I should respond to EVERY issue you ever post with "Get rid of it and try a new (car, truck, TV, phone, whatever)? Contribute useful info or stay out of the thread.

 

Ok, here's something useful, take your phone to a dealership and see if it pairs and operates with another truck. If it does, make them fix yours under warranty , if not and you still need to drive, text and talk on the phone while driving, try a different phone.

Everything works flawlessly with my Windows Phone as well...

 

Adults consider all options, children get mad and ignore things they don't like to hear.

It's either the phone or the truck so pick one and swap it out, it's not that difficult especially at a dealership which has many trucks and technical expertize. Theyre also obligated to fix for free due to the warranty if deemed your truck is broken.

Since I'm being ignored, maybe someone not ignored will quote this for you.
