True, my friend owns a body shop and he uses it all the time. It is a much better cleaner than physically buffing the surface.
But, he uses it to clean before painting or to remove overspray. Acetone is used in paint as a volatile component to keep the paint in suspension until the carrier agents dry out, then the paint sets. Basically, it's a mild paint thinner. Great stuff, but unless you are working with a specific mixture and know what you are doing, you could make a mess of your clearcoat.

Lesson has been well learned. In the middle of the words with a fire in my truck lol. But I'm going to re wire it with an inline switch and bigger gauge wire

Smart idea. Or get a wire harness for $15 from a website if you don't like wiring.

Lol that's what happens most of the time. Some people have to learn from their mishaps. I just got done installing a fuse block that literally took me 10 hours but now all my wiring is organized and has individual fuses.

1997 t4r has super duty axles, 5.13s locked front and rear. 3 link front with 14" kings. Rear 63s.
Run a relay, always run a relay for fogs, led bars or pods. I use 12 GA and have a cat 5 cable running to my switches all they do is trigger the relay and it handles up to 40 amps.

I want to do that one of these days. Got my eye on the 12 circuit Blue Sea fuse block. But for now everything has an inline fuse & I used harnesses with relays for both my light bar & pods.

    Hey fellas! Happy Friday!

Couldn't find much when I did a quick local search on here so figured I'd cut to the chase. Who do you guys trust around here to mount and balance (properly) a new set of BFG AT's 265/70/17? Stock rims and no lift (yet). I have the tires on order already just need the service done.

Thanks for any recommendations and ya'll have a great weekend.
