I just got back from riding. I may have fallen and completely embarrassed myself in front of a sweet woman who was walking her dog. Peter Griffin falling down the stairs comes to mind.

 

I went 75 on mine checked a few weeks later still tight checked again a few months later still good.

 

I check everything in a perimeter of what I'm doing that day. Otherwise I know I'll lose my shit if I feel an odd vibration or noise the next day

Yeah. Clipped in gives me anxiety.

It was so stupid too. I was coming around a corner and there was a paved little section to cross the road and I cornered but rolled off the edge of the pavement into an incline. Wheel hit a rut and bars went sideways and I stuck my foot out to save myself and stand up but my ankle rolled and then I did lol.

 

We will have to ride Annadel when you come up this way.

Knees cut up from the dry as hell dirt but mainly my pride is broken. Then the woman had the audacity to ask if I was ok. Yes bitch leave me alone to die in my embarrassment.

Awesome, at least she noticed you and asked, could of been way worse, she could of laugh hard and pulled her phone out to take pics of you dusting your pride off.

 

Bike got filthy dirty though. That counts!

If I remember right you said you're more about climbing and trails that are tame. I think I remember talking about it at one of Jeffs OTPHJ-fests. I'm cool with doing hardcore shit I'd rather just cruise and get some miles in and not break my collar bone.
