Hell yeah! If the mic is going to keep getting BS fights out of his weight class, that he holds the belt in, it's only fair to the people that really deserve a crack at that belt to get an interim belt at least.

 

I totally agree. I see him fighting possibly one or two more times in featherweight only and then he moves up in weight class. I'm not a fan of Conor but he's an entertaining fighter for sure and certain does draw me in because I get the "I want to see this guy get his ass kick" mentality lol. I just hope he improves his ground game enough for the next fight. I've never seen him fight or heard of him until the promotion with Aldo last year.

Speaking of ground games, I hope Joanna 'Champion' works on her ground game too for when she fights Claudia in July. I actually like her and felt so bad for Carla Esparza when they fought last year.

DC pulls out of his match with Jones due to injury. I find it funny/ironic that he gets injured right after Jones gets in trouble with the law. Reminds me of the Werdum/Velasquez fiasco. Fishy as fuck.

I wonder if Carvalho had some type of underlying issue, like an aneurysm? It didn't seem worse than any other stoppage & it certainly wasn't a late stoppage. Regardless, something you never want to happen to a fighter.

 

I can't believe all of the recent changes to the UFC card this Saturday. The one guy you expect to drop out due to injury is actually fighting. Should still be a pretty descent card though.

Yeah... Dodson on the Fight Pass part of the card is BS. Should at least be Prelims. Should be flipped with the first fight on the prelims... never heard of those two dudes on that fight. Definitely going to be rooting for Chiesa (met him at UFC Fight Night Foxwoods when he fought Joe Lauzon), super cool dude. Also rooting for Cub and for Tecia Torres (she's part Portuguese!!!!). Main fight have to go with Glover, reason, he has a gym here in town (Danbury CT) since he used to live here before turning pro and even comes and trains every once in a while.

The only reasons I can think of why they placed Dodson on Fight Pass is to keep Fight Pass subscribers interested and maybe lure some newbies into subscribing.

Anyone watch Bellator? I have a thing for russian, ukraine, (ANNA KOURNIKOVA) type chicks where there name ends in "OVA" and this girl on Bellator better make alot more fight cards in the near future
