Yep those will work....I believe they are the older countersunk hooks for the older metal bed but yes, they are cheaper!

 

Installed the katzkin black leather upholstery took my time and it went as expected looks great

I had a guy do it in my town, I don't weld. but it's not too bad at all honestly. we had it done in two hours.

These would look good on the Tacoma.

 

I was going to say if you are close, and you want to go the chrome route, I have chrome running boards just like yours as well as grey wheels (tss like yours) if you wanted to swap. I'm in AR, so it may not be feasible.

Not sure the brand, they were there at dealership. I like them a lot, haven't seen them on others, also help with door dings and keeps high ground clearance. Here a couple more views of them.
