Nice! White looks good. Bought mine red off the dealership and just changed out the panels to the charcoal grey. I have bunch of vinyl in different colors I may try one, one of these days...I just wanna ride, been busy with work.

    Anymore Fz07 owners?

    Depends on the WR.

A WR250R needs and oil change every ~6,000 miles after the break-in period. Valve clearance should be checked every 26,000 miles.

For the WR450F, it needs an oil change every ~1,200 miles after the break-in period. I change the oil on my CRF250L every 1,500 so that's not bad imo. Valves should be checked every ~2500 miles.

honestly unless the valves start chattering a lot i wouldnt even bother checking them that often. not to mention checking valves really doesnt take any work unless you need to reshim.

I've never checked mine. Probably won't bother for the time that I own it.

If/when I get a 450 I'll probably just do it every Winter to be safe. Most peoples experiences with the 5 valve WR450's is that they stay in spec for a long time. Not sure how the 2016 WR450F's are going to handle maintenance-wise since they went back to a 4 valve system....

Hard to tell from just a picture but you probably scored a good bike and the price was right. I've raced hare scrambles, enduros and grand prix but just for fun. My riding buddies think I am a bit overboard on maintenance but I like to make finishing a ride/race a priority. The last 5 years it's been national dual sport rides and camping riding adventures with only a select few races. Some of the guys in our group just ride their bikes till they break and fix them. Makes for some interesting stories around the campfire. Really looking forward to the next ride. Haven't had the bike out since last fall.

I have ~3,700 miles on my bike. I don't ride as much as I used to. Plus I missed all of Summer 2015 to ride because I was overseas which sucked.

I only live 5 minutes from work too, so it's hard for me to put many miles on anything I drive really. I've had the truck for over 3 years and have only put 20,000 miles on it.

I bought mine at 8,xxx. I have had it since the beginning of July and I've put almost 4,xxx on it. Obviously didn't ride as much during winter and snow storms but I still rode at least once a week even when it was 30*-40*. Average of 450 miles a month I think?

I only drive my truck if it's raining/snowing/etc, or if I have to bring anything I can't fit in my backpack or tailbag.
