    Does every tacoma have the "taco-lean" post-lift? I am going to order the ¼" top-plate spacer from Headstrong either way, but I was just curious if anyone has gone ahead and installed it, only to realize that they didn't need it in the first place, providing a reverse lean :confused::D - Thanks in advance.

    You have. '15? You might not have the lean yet, but you will. It's from age of the drivers side settling due to the excess of weight (you, the driver). I suppose you could put the same amount of weight as you in the passenger seat anytime you drive to keep it settling level :laugh:

    Lean exists pre lift. Most put in the spacer during lift to solve the pre existing problem. If it already leans and you lift both sides equally, it'll still lean.

    But if you're replacing the strut and coil, wouldn't that negate any "drivers side wear", or is it elsewhere.

    i mean i know the battery, gas tank, etc is all on the drivers side - but I'm just trying to figure it out :D

    Everything about the truck is a little heavier on the driver side. I noticed the lean on my 2012 in 2012, before I ever read about it. My old Nissan truck had it on the passenger side. Nothing to be concerned about, but if you're changing things you might as well even it out.

    Lol. The so called "lean" stems from nothing more than collapsed radiator support bushings. The body leans, not the chassis itself.

    Replace those with some Energy 9.4101G Polyurethane bushings and set both sides to your desired lift, then forget about it, like forever. Don't waste your money on those BS top plate "lean correcting" spacers.

    Not at all.. what I DO recommend, however, as the real alternative and proper correction is Energy Suspension Polyurethane Bushings part number 9.4101G.

    I have a thread posted about them and it has been one long discussed over. It's here on the forum if you feel compelled to look at it.

    Yes very, I'm about to buy my aftermarket coils and Bilstein 5100 for my 3 lift. Where's ur thread? I need to research before I buy this spacer
