So my wife and I just had our first baby boy and needless to say we're excited! Unfortunately a little part of my soul died when the car seat didn't work in the back of my access cab and I had to upgrade to a full size truck. So here I am selling the cap I had in the hopes that I can fund a new one for many future family trips.

Note: We're new parents and learning as we go so I will try to check back on here as often as I can but just realize I've got a lot going on right now so patience is appreciated.

    On to the fun part...

Leer 180 with carpet headliner, cargo net, 2 LED dome lights, 3 port accessory power block, Thule top tracks, Thule Tracker II roof rack, Thule Fairing, radius side windoors, sliding front window, plastic boot to seal between cab and cap, Big mouth thule bike rack, color matched to Indigo Ink Pearl.

Bought June 2014, been on truck whole time, terrific condition

FREE sleeping platform (if you want it) for whoever buys it

    Price: $1800 OBO

Location: Orange County, VA. LOCAL PICK UP ONLY (unless you know of some way to transport a cap easily that I don't)

Ideally whoever buys this wants the whole package but I'm willing to drop the roof rack, fairing, bike rack if you're not interested and will adjust the price accordingly.

I also have a 2 year old Titan Rod Vault fly fishing rod carrier that I will be looking to sell and if you'd like that I'll add that to the package. It was $500 new so if you get everything I'll sell it for $300!

Let me know if you have any questions.

And now for the even more fun part... the pictures

    IMG_1900.jpg
Frame of sleeping platform. This thing is STURDY!

    IMG_1906.jpg
    IMG_1979.jpg
Enough width to fit one bike this way..

    IMG_2077.jpg
And it'd be tight but you could probably fit 2 bikes this way. I kept all my fly fishing gear under the platform. My wife and I slept on the platform once and it was tight but as long as you don't mind spooning it's doable.

    And now for the capIMG_2516.jpg

    IMG_2520.jpg
Fairing, bike rack and rod carrier

    IMG_2521.jpg
    3 accessory powerblock

    IMG_2523.jpg
Look at all that room! I could sleep comfortable and sit up without hitting my head.

    Cargo net and dome light

    Rear dome lightIMG_2528.jpg
Radius side windoors and back window opened up

    IMG_2530.jpg
Plastic boot and tube to fill it. Perfect condition, I only used it once. And while it worked, the majority of the times I slept in the back I didn't need heat or A/C from the cab.

haha like I said, a bit of my soul died when I had to move on. It was a super flexible space and perfect for anyone into doing pretty much any outdoor activity.

Forgot to add that I have the foam adhesive tape to help seal the cap to the rails and of course all of the hardware you need to attach it. Both included with the purchase!

This deserves a bump, if for nothing else that clean design of the sleep platform. - GLWS -

Oh yeah, my friend who teaches wood working at the school I work at helped me come up with the design and build it. Wish I could say we planned for the tool box to fit there but that part was pure luck haha.

I'm interested in ONLY the "Thule Tracker II roof rack" if u decide to sell it separate and ship (at a reasonable price of course).

I was debating between a Tundra and a silverado 1500 and went with the silverado. I know the dealer where I got it, they gave me a killer deal on the truck and good price for trading in the tacoma. It was a bittersweet day...

Are you the original owner? Noticed that you are in VA, but the cap sticker says Danbury, CT.

Yes I am. I grew up around Danbury and I've gotten all my bed accessories from Cap City in Danbury. Family business and they do great business, so I drove back there to have them put it on.

And kudos to you on the keen eye and great question!

I should probably say a little more about the use its gotten... Been on my truck since June 2014, and saw a little over 30,000 miles on the road. Hasn't seen hail/sleet and it was always on my truck. Right now it's sitting a few inches up off the ground on 2x4s but I'm moving it to some saw horses and putting it in an open garage to maximize protection until I sell it.

It was amazing and served me so well. Not sure how the 180 would look on my silverado but that's where I'm leaning.

Haha you're not going to believe this, but I go to grad school at Montana State in Bozeman... I'll be out there this summer. I dunno how well it would work but I'm sure I can strap that sucker down in the bed of my truck and get it out to you. PM sent!

I'm guessing the roof racks set is off the market since "nordicfreak" is interested in the cap?
